Divorce

In my previous blog, picking the right mate 1 and 2, I mentioned that picking and having the right partner is very important. Many people these days go into marriage eyes closed. And their eyes open when it is too late! Then they result to DIVORCE.
Divorce gets even worse when there are kids involved. Why? Because parents get selfish. Or should I say some parents are selfish.  You have produce kids in the world, then later realize that you married the wrong man or woman! Then you realize that this (Marriage) wasn't what you signed up for. Then because you are both adults (well you claim you are) u separate, not considering the children you brought forth to the world.
Its just like when u both decided to say "I DO" u never thought about the kids u were gonna have. Then once u guys divorce, the kids involved become traumatized. But the parents expects the child not to be affected (BIG FAT LIE).
Children from divorced homes turn out to be menace to the society! Well not all, but some are. Most of them are traumatized emotionally, especially if their parents separated @ a very young age.
Think about this; parents can definately move on faster than kids. Why? Because they can meet someone else.

Mom /dad can be remarried; a new spouse. What happens to the kids? Yeh they might be getting a new mom or dad, but remember its called (STEP-PARENT). My people have a saying " blood is thicker than water".
In some cases, this kids are molested by the new "parent". Either physical abuse, sexual abuse or emotional abuse.
Abuse might not come only from the "step parent",  relatives also, from either side of the family.

Unfortunately, our society encourages divorce. Seems like the  order of the day is get married, have kids, then you find out that you married the wrong person all these years.
Before u walk down to the alter to say "I DO" please think about what you going into.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing wrong about marriage, I'm just against the divorce part,  because once divorce happens with kids involved, scars occur.
What amazes me is, when a couple has been married for over 30 years, and decide to divorce, and their reason(s) I married the wrong man/woman, or he /she changed.
Children involved in divorce don't have to be toddlers or elementary school kids, even adults can be strongly affected by the separation of their parents. Truth is some of them begin ti get scared of marriage, because they don't seem to understand why happy mom and dad decided to call it quits (well not always happy sometimes).

Marriage (choosing the right partner part 2)

This is a message I got from church, so I decided to share it. Hope you benefit from it as I did.

It is important to note that for every venture, family, relationships, etc, the foundation upon which it is built is very essential. Marriage is a foundational institute created by God. It was one of the first things created in the Garden of Eden. However, owing to failing statistics on the marriage institution, a lot of people are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the institution. This is reflected in increased divorce rates, and sadly, the church is not left out in this disheartening statistics. In a similar vein, people have begun to deal with marriage with the same attitude they deal with inanimate objects. Hence, we find people who change partners like they change clothes and disposable plates and spoons. Some have even become scared of marriage. So in today's world, we find people who are ready to co-habit as life partners, have sex and do the same things that married people do, but with no intention to commit to the marriage institution. This is wrong and is not what God intended for relationships. Regardless of the current failing statistics on the marriage institution, it is important to note that marriage is not something to be scared of. To ensure a successful marriage, we must return to the author of the institution-God-for direction. Also, in order to pick the right partner, we must diligently and carefully seek the face of God.
UNDERSTANDING THE VALUE OF GODLY PARTNERSHIP
-Ecclesiastes 4:9, Matthew 11:28-29
i. Benefits of Partnership (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
a. It brings purpose to your life.
b. Brings high productivity to your life.
c. It brings protection into your life.
d. It brings power to your life.
e. It also brings peace to your life.
A successful marriage partnership depends on a successful partnership with God. It is also important that we carefully analyze our relationships before getting married. They say love is blind, but marriage does open those eyes. So do not let love blind your eyes, for if you do, you might not like what you see after your eyes are opened, two or three years down the line in the marriage. Below are some questions you can use in analyzing the relationship you have with your partner before deciding whether to settle down with them or not.
i. Are you mutually attracted: This includes attraction in the following areas:
spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical.
ii. Do you share common values?
iii. Do you have genuine friendships? This friendship should not be based on physical beauty or handsomeness, wealth, fame or any other things that could fizzle away.
iv. Is your partner responsible? Remember:
"Don't marry someone you can live with, marry someone you cannot live without."
v. Do you have a family background that compares to one another? For example are your family values the same?
vi. Are there unresolved hurts and hang-ups in your life? Such hurts and hang-ups if not resolved could potentially harm your marriage down the line. There have been cases of people who broke up years after marriage, just because the other partner still dealt with a painful experience either from childhood or a previous relationship(s). This should be avoided. If you have any of such issues, ensure you deal with it and make sure it will not crop up somewhere along the line to destroy your marriage. Don't marry a rebound. Mend before you marry.
vii. Do you have compatible life challenges?
viii. How often do you fight and how quickly do you resolve the conflict? Learn about conflict resolution before marriage, not after marriage. Boundaries should be set before marriage.
ix. Do you sincerely respect and admire your partner? Make sure you observe unlikable traits during dating and courtship, and deal with them before marriage. Observe unique characteristics in your partner before marriage, so that you don't end up unhappy with such characteristics after marriage.
x. Lastly ask yourself this question: Do you want your children to look like your partner?
2. God is a God of Process: From the creation of man to the coming of our lord and savior Jesus Christ and all through the bible, we see that God does things in an orderly manner, observing certain processes and procedures in all He does. Hence, He requires that in choosing the right life partner we follow the right processes in order to keep us from avoidable hurt and pain.
THE PROCESS/PATHWAY TO PICKING THE RIGHT PARTNER
i. Take your time-Psalm 106:13
Time is the only way many character defects are detected.
"Many have missed the purpose of God by acting in a hurry"-Pst. Olumide
ii. Ask for God's guidance: James 1:5
Don't pray your will to God, ask Him for His perfect will. Commit your ways unto the lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass-Psalm 37:5
iii. Seek the insight of godly people-Psalm 37:30
iv. Listen and look for the peace of God-Colosians 3:15
v. Stay connected to the body of Christ: Don't let your relationship and/or marriage disconnect you from God.
vi. Participate in premarital or preparation courses-Proverbs 4:11
3.
PITFALLS TO AVOID WHEN CHOOSING A LIFE PARTNER
i. Immaturity: Whether it is spiritual, mental, or emotional, immaturity should be avoided. Look to see for signs of immaturity in your partner. Don't marry a person who is immature in their ways. They would pull you backwards especially when you do not have the strength to carry them along the path of maturity.
ii. Insecurity
iii. Impatience
iv. Isolation: When your relationship seems to be taking you away from friends and family, especially those in the household of faith, it is a sure sign that sooner than later you will find yourself doing the wrong thing with your partner. This should be totally dealt with especially in the courtship/dating years, because after you settle down as husband and wife it may be hard to reverse. The key is to find out why he/she does not like you hanging around your friends and family, especially those who share the same faith with you. For example, find out why he doesn't like going to church with you and why he pulls you away from church.
ASK MANY QUESTIONS. KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. BE WISE!
v. Don't ignore these pitfalls: Ignoring these pitfalls is also a pitfall to avoid.
vi. Avoid premarital sex and co-habiting: The secular society thinks differently about this, but God's word is very clear on this.
No sex before marriage. Don't live together if you are not married. Don't try to get around it. Just obey God's word and it will pay off both in the short run and in the long run.
vii. Take care of unresolved internal pain(s).
"It is better for you to hurt your way through a disappointing break-up, than to hurt your way for a lifetime, through a disappointing marriage"-Pst. Olumide.
POINTS TO NOTE
1. A hurtful break-up is better than a hurtful marriage.
2. Purpose to be the right person in the relationship.
3. Have a significant assurance of your life partner before marriage. Note that 100% assurance may not be possible, but let your assurance be significant enough.
4. Also, don't over-analyze the situation. It may lead you to the paralysis of analysis.
Marriage is honorable in all-Hebrews 13:4
5. After saying "I do", put about 200% effort to make the marriage the best it can be. Also strive to bring the best out of yourself. Because sometimes, bringing the best out of yourself can help your partner bring the best out of him(her)self.
6. Make sure you deal with buyers remorse. After you get married, whoever you get married to becomes the right one.
Finally, marrying the right person does not mean marrying the perfect person. There are bound to be challenges along the way, but regardless of what happens, pray, believe and trust God for a better life with your spouse. And always know that even if your spouse may not be perfect in every way you want them to be, they are just right for you. Sometimes working to help each other deal with the imperfections in your lives, could help strengthen the union. Also remember that when you finally choose the right partner, God's favor is bound to follow-Proverbs 18:22. Enjoy your marriage in God. If you are not married, just wait on the lord. Peace.

Choosing the right partner

Everybody wants to make the right choice in choosing a mate. What a nightmare if we don't. What a blessing if we do. If you are in a serious relationship, ask yourself these questions:* Is this person my best friend? If not, you're not ready.* Do we share common faith and values? If not, you'll have conflict and drift apart.* Do family and friends affirm the relationship? Choosing a mate means choosing a family.* Am I willing to make a lifetime commitment? Marriage is not for trying out. That's a sure road to divorce.* Do I want this person to be the parent of my children?* Do I wake up to every day wanting to be with them versus convincing myself why I like them?If you can say yes to each of these, you may have found the right one. If not, you may want to slow down or even call it off. But most of all, seek God's will through prayer and be willing to follow His lead in one of life's biggest decisions.

FACTS

Wealth;
Despite its vast resources, Nigeria ranks among the most unequal countries in the world. The poverty in the North is in stark contrast to more developed southern states. The oil rich south-east residents complain the wealth they generate flows up the pipeline to Abuja and Lagos!

Literacy
Female literacy is seen as the key to raising living standards for the next generation. For example, a newborn child is far likelier to survive if its mother is well-educated. In Nigeria we see a stark contrast between the mainly Muslim north and the Christian and animist south. In some northern states less than 5% of women can read and write, whereas in some Igbo areas more than 90% are literate.

Oil
Nigeria is Africa's biggest oil producer and among the biggest in the world but most of its people subsist on less than $2 a day. The oil is produced in the south-east and some militant groups there want to keep a greater share of the wealth which comes from under their feet. Attacks by militants on oil installations led to a sharp fall in Nigeria's output during the last decade. But in 2010, a government amnesty led thousands of fighters to lay down their weapons.

Health
Southern residents tend to have better access to healthcare, as reflected by the greater uptake of vaccines for polio, tuberculosis, tetanus. But some Northern groups in the past boycotted immunization programs in the past, claiming they are a Western plot to make Muslim women infertile.

Nigeria Boko Haram Suspect escapes from Police Custody

A key suspect in a Nigerian church bombing that killed more than 40 people escapes police custody, leading to the arrest of a top policeman.
Kabiru Sokoto, believed to be a member of the Islamic terrorist Boko Haram was arrested on Saturday in Abuja after the police trailed him to his house. A police commissioner has been arrested due to the escape.
The twist to this is that Mr. Sokoto was arrested in Abuja, seen at a lodge owned by the governor of Borno  state, Kashim Shettima. But a spokesman to the governor  states that there is no question of collaboration between the governor and Boko Haram.

“What we’ve heard is that this man is in the lodge perhaps to even harm the governor. One cannot be in governance and be collaborating with people who threaten the peace of your own region,” Inuwa Bwala, Borno’s commissioner of information .
Mr. Sokoto was the only major suspect to be arrested of late for involvement in the bloody attacks

Nigeria

Nigeria is a very rich country. But the wealth is not evenly spread out. The rich are just plainly rich; while the poor, well they called poor for a reason. The problem with our Nigerian Government is LACK OF MONEY MANAGEMENT.
I dont know if its an African thing or what, when black people see money, them no know wetin them go use am do, instead na to buy things or throw party. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying its bad to have fun, not its not, but dont over do it.
If the domestic spending of the president of Nigeria is 1billionNaria, how much does he earn as a president? And why does he have to spend 1billionNaria a year on feeding and parties and all other unnecessary stuffs. Does anyone know how far 1billionNaria can go in Nigeria today? Also, sometime last year, there was a meeting to be held in London, the Nigerian government went with 3 private jets, and went along with more than the required people. Oh well Najia must show off.
With the fuel whala that has been going on, all na just SCRIPTED MOVIE, and as usual, everyone played their role well. From the President to the NLC AND CO.
If they really care about the people, the refineries should be fixed, and oil should be produced and done at home, not bought from outside. This will also save the cost of shipping and all.
But what exists in Nigeria today is  A SLEEPING GOVERNMENT.

Waiting for the perfect mate...

Oya, enough of #OccupyNigeria for now, I want to talk about matters that concerns the heart (not every heart sha).
Ive heard so many Singles (Esp ladies) talk about meeting the perfect person. Interesting I must say. But does the word "Perfect" exist in our world today? (you can answer that on ur own). I happen to ask people what they mean by being with a "Perfect" mate; and they say all sorts of things from the profession, to money, looks, height, and all..
I laugh out very loud. I remember when I was in high school, I used to have a book, where I wrote about the kind of man I wanted to marry (Building castles in the air), I said he has to be tall, not too ugly, not too fine, in between, makes a lot of money, blah blah blah(I was just 16), so bear with me that I had so many fantasies, reality never dawned on me.
Well, as I got older, I began to realize that "Perfect" only exists with God, I am yet to meet a perfect human begin.
I remember growing up, my aunt used to tell me stories, and I remember one about a beautiful woman, who was single. Men came from far and wide to have her hand in marriage. She turned all of them down. One day, a spirit ( well he was a monster) in the forest heard about this woman, and said he was going to woo her to marry him. Mind you he wasnt a complete creature. So before embarking on his journey, he borrowed hands, legs, eyes, mouth, face, and everything to look complete. He looked so handsome. He go to the village where this girl lived and like other men, asked for her hand in marriage. Immediately, she accepted and he took her away. So as the custom implied, he took her to his home (The forest). As they walked, she wondered where he was taking her to. They walked and walked and walked, deep inside the forest. On their way, the so called handsome man began to return all the parts he borrowed. By the time it was too late for her, she realized she married a mosnter, and he ate her up (lol, well some said she ran away and went back home, this is my own version).
Moral of the story; not all that glitters is gold.
We all want perfect, but before you find perfect, you have to be perfect also. And for those of you waiting for the perfect man or woman, well before its too late........

Occupy Nigeria at the world bank Dc

Nigerians came out to show their support today at the World bank in Washington Dc. Even under the cold condition, they came all dressed up, ready to let their voices be heard. Everyone had something green on representing their loyalty to their nation. Placards of all sorts were made.
To my surprise, I expected people to come late(Well I was also late; Long story), but people got there ontime and the protest ended at 1pm.
Nigerians in the DMV, came out on a peaceful protest against the issues going on the Nigeria today. Men and women, all spoke about their frustrations about the problems we are facing in Nigeria. Reporters came also to capture the day. Was an amazing one hr I would say.
Another rally would be going on at the Nigerian Embassy in NY Tuesday 10th of January 2012 at 12pm. And another again at the Nigerian Embassy in Washington Dc.
To those who came out to support  the rally, Thank u, for keeping to your words.

Nollywood Stars voice their support for Goodluck Jonathan (WHERE ARE THEY)

Our voices have been taken away by the sound and cries of lies.
We were promised a better future
Good roads,
Better Education
A better 2012
All we hear are the cries of the innocent
All we see are the blood and bodies of our loved ones been shed and scattered on the streets
Even the ants can smell our fears
With the crises going on in Nigeria
We still lack a good medical facility.
Our voices have been taken away by the sound of cries and lies
Now is the time to get back our voice
What was being promised to us
Our better Nigeria
What happened to "LEADERS OF TOMORROW"?
They are killed before their dreams could be attained.
We need a better Nigeria
We want Our country back........

Questions that need answers

Ever since President Good-luck Jonathan became president, the Nigerian economy has been going down hill. The good luck everyone claims he possessed  from high school even to the death of Ya'rdua has finally finished. Because, he is being referred to as Nigeria's BADLUCK. From the to rising of Kidnappers in the east, to the religious threat of Boko Haram in the north, to the increase of fuel price across the nation.

My question is;
1. Do you think President Jonathan should be impeached?
2.If you voted for him in the last year's election, any regrets?
3.Do you think Goodluck has run out of LUCK?
4. If you are an adviser to the president now, what advice would you give him now at the moment?

I have no title for this post, but all I can say is THIS IS GETTING WAY OUT OF HAND. Why do this evil ones keep killing the innocent ones.
Another killing was reported just yesterday in Gombe State, at a Deeper Life Church. Also the pastor's wife was also confirmed dead, among 6 others.
However, the ugly development has sent fear down the spine of residents of the area.

And one that caught my eye was that of Finance Minister Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Early yesterday, posted about her threat to resign. Still on the same issue, Ive gotten over 3 broadcast messages raining  insults on her. Here is one of them "Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala threatens to resign from cabinet if President Goodluck Jonathan bows to pressure on fuel subsidy. Who the heck does this imperialist agent thinks she is; Mother Nigeria? Does the idiot think she's the most knowledgeable economist in Nigeria? She must even resign sef. 'Ode oni gele gegere'. I pray boko haram catch her and punish before she resigns. With her face like 50 naira puff-puff. Silly IMF/World Bank errand girl. Idiot with over-sized ego. How can people be this wicked

A woman, whose 12-year-old daughter was tortured by her guardian, has given up the fight for justice. The woman, Ebere Nwamba, blamed poverty as part of the reasons for abandoning the case, which she had pursued for quite sometime now. Her child, Ifunanya, was allegedly brutalised by her guardian, simply identified as, Godrick, for failing to wash the top of her Toyota Sienna bus.

The girl was said to have explained to her that her hands could not reach the top of the vehicle because of her height but she failed to see reasons with her. Godrick allegedly battered her, leaving her with injuries in all parts of her body, including her mouth.

The bubble burst, however, when Ifunnaya went to her school, Adeniyi Jones Primary School, the next day and one of her classmates drew attention of her plight to their teacher. This did not go down well with management of the school as it petitioned the Nigeria Police, over the assault on one of its pupils.

It didn’t stop there, the school was also said to have written petitions to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Social Welfare and Guidance and Counseling Unit, over the child abuse. Part of the petition reads: “The management of Adeniyi Jones Primary School hereby petitions the police command, on the assault on one of our pupils, Miss lfunanya Nwamba. The girl claimed that she had always been beaten with pestle, horsewhip, pipes and wood that contain nails, by her guardian.”

The school further alleged that torture of its pupils had become a recurring incident in the last two years.
Following the petition, Godrick was arrested by the police and the case being investigated by the Human Rights Department of the police. It was the same department that charged her to court on a two-count charge of alleged assault and causing grievous bodily harm on Ifunanya. The suspect was, however, granted bail in the sum of N100,000 after she pleaded not guilty while the matter was adjourned to another date.

But the case took a dramatic turn when the mother of the victim, who had been crying for justice, begged the school management for an out of court settlement. Giving reasons for her action, she said: “I lack the means of transportation to court on each adjournment. This case has suffered many setbacks.” She disclosed that transportation from Enugu State to Lagos was burdensome to her. “I would prefer to take my daughter back home and accept the offer of N20,000, being presented to me by the woman, who assaulted my daughter,” she said.

A Probation Officer, attached to the School’s social work unit, Mr. Kelani Tolu said: “The victim had been interviewed on several occasions and she kept saying she would like to live in Enugu State, with her biological mother to continue her education.” He said the victim’s mother had also agreed to take her to Enugu to send her to school. “The defendant has agreed to give N10,000 to the victim, another N10,000 for her mother’s transportation back to Enugu and additional N10,000 for her up-keep.”

Consequently, the Magistrate Court 6, Ikeja, presided over by Magistrate Mrs. Oshiniyi, struck out the case.

Kidnaped and Killed for love

Kingsley Elekwachi was only expressing his love for a Female  colleague when he innocently walked into a trap which claimed his life.
The above statement aptly described the tragic end of a recently discharged “Batch B” National Youth Service Corps member in Minna, Niger State, Kingsley Chidozie Elekwachi, a Higher National Diploma graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko,  Anambra State.
During the mandatory NYSC service year, Late Mr Kingsley Elekwachi had been friends with a female corp member, Juliet, a graduate in Accounting from Ebonyi State University Abakaliki.
It was also stated that, even after the service year in July 2011, after the duo seperated and went back to their individual homes, they still kept in touch with each other.
So being in love and all, Juliet invited Kingsley to come over to Minna for a visit, which he gladly accepted. But unknown to him, that was accepting a DEATH offer.
Investigations found out that Mr Elekwachi did not know of his "rival", Ikechukwu Ifedi, who was Juliet's "live in lover". They have been together for a while and  have a baby girl.
Ifedi, who claims to be a business man dealing in cloths and cosmetics, soon discovered the affair between Kingsley and his "Wife" Juliet, started monitoring her phone conversations and movements around Minna. He also urged Juliet to invite Mr Elekwachi to come over to Minna, Niger state.
On his arrival to Minna, Ifedi, already made plans to kidnap Mr Elekwachi in collaboration Victor Ibegbu an okada driver. He was taken to the back of Ifedi's house, and given 9 tablets of diazepam also known as valium five with one bottle of alcoholic gin as well as 3 bottles of beer as he was held captive. The victim was said to have gone into  a coma. His hands and legs were tied down. The kidnapers, also contacted the family of the victim for 1million naria to release the victim, after all negotiations, they agreed on 500,000 naria, to be pain in 2  payments.
The whereabouts of Mr Elekwachi is yet to be known. Due to investigations, Ifedi claims not to have killed Kingsley, but bones of a human was found in the spot where the victim was held ransom.

Evacuate the North or die... Boko Haram

Today marks the 3 day ultimatum given by the Boko Haram Islamic terrorist group for all Christians living in the Northern part of Nigeria to evacuate. The co-ordinator of the Oodua people congress (OPC) Chief  Gani Adams,  has ordered southerns and Yourbas living in the North to come back home, yesterday.  According to Chief Adams, he stated in an interview that based on past experience, this sector has always carried out their threats.
The Federal Government is being overwhelmed by the activities of this deadly sector. As President Johnathan, declares a state of emergency in the North, Boko Haram threatened to confront troops.
Meanwhile, as OPC calls back to all Yourbas and Southerns to come back home, the leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB), Cheif Ralph Uwazuruike, has urged Ndi igbo to remain calm in the midst if the present challenges going on in the nation now (IGBO KWENU)

Labor declares strike starting Monday Jan 9th

This is not the best way to start a new year in Nigeria. Come on... We ended the year bad in Nigeria, with the bombing and the take over of Boko Haram. Now due to the increase in fuel price from 64naria per liter to 138 and even 250 naria in some places, the NLC AND TUC has declared a strike starting Monday, January 9th 2012. Since everybody don dey give ultimatum, labor sef don give the Federal Government their own ultimatum, to end the fuel subsidy. According to Vanguard Nigeria,  “After exhaustive deliberations and consultations with all sections of the populace, the NLC, TUC and their pro-people allies demand that the Presidency immediately reverses fuel prices to N65. If the Government fails to do so, they direct that indefinite general strikes, mass rallies and street protests be held across the country with effect from Monday, January 9, 2012.  From that Monday, January 9, 2012, all offices, oil production centres, air and sea ports, fuel stations, markets, banks, amongst others will be shut down,”.  Citizens were also advised to stock up on food supply, due to the longevity of the protest, which might take a long time.
Come to think of it, the Nigerian economy would loose much once this strike commence.
And the cost of living would increase, from transportation, to feeding, rent, and all But the salary of the average Nigeria would still remain the same.  Even if they have to increase fuel prices, not this outrageous amount na haba. From 65 naria to 145. If u have done the math like me, thats a wooping 80naria difference. President Goodluck and others, increasing the fuel price would not help the economy. Please think about the people who voted you in power. Even if you have to increase the cost of fuel, not this high nau, abi na wetin?
Rethink this policy please. We want a better Nigeria. Plus there are other pressing issues that need to be taken care of, you come add more petrol untop fire.

Solidarity for the boys

So protests begins in some part of London today, as some Nigerians have collected permission from the police to start protests. So my fellow sensible Nigerians, if some of you can protest for the legalization of Homosexuals in Nigeria, You can also come out and protest for the removal of fuel subsidy in Nigeria.

#OccupyNigeria

There's only so much the human mind can bear! Nigeria is rich with resources in all ramifications yet the masses suffer and relish in abject poverty. Our 'legislooters' (who the hell are they representing btw) do nothing yet a chunk of budget goes to feeding these cankerworms! Fuel subsidy can only be removed when the economy is very stable, when minimum wage is at par with the new fuel price and when more than half of Nigerians aren't living almost below the poverty line! Else, let's keep occupying! May the evildoers know no rest. No light, no job, no security! #enoughisenough #occupynigeria abeg!!! by Mo' Lanee Sibyl
There is going to be an occupyNigeria rally at the Dc Embassy. Me I dey go rally ooo. But jokes apart sha, this has to stop. Nigerians are vexing really bad. I do hope our leaders are paying attention. As a matter of fact, what  were they thinking when they thought of the fuel subsidy? Didnt they learn from all the rallies that went on last year around the world?  Them no know say Nigerians no dey play? Hiss...

Hi, Pleased to meet me

Ok, enough of the Najia politics.
So I just found out something about me. I have known that a long time ago, but I never seemed to come to terms that I was guilty of the crime. I found out that I always had a back up plan for everything. I used to have a saying that if plan A doesn't work, I move to plan B,C,D-Z. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying its bad to have a back up plan, but there are certain things that don't need back up plans in life, things that should just come naturally. All you have to do is just trust God and be sure u have surrendered everything to him. So instead of dealing with the difficult ones you know you cant handle, don't sweat it, LET GO, AND LET GOD, and you will never be disappointed.
I also learnt that I start too many projects at the same time, and I end up not finishing. I had to do a mental review of my life so far, and I saw all my uncompleted projects. Now, I just want to focus on one thing first at a time. Take things on a steady pace. Instead of running to catch up with others, I will go on my own pace.

Hug Transformer

Hiss wetin dey do this our najia govt sef?  Instead of finding a solution to our problems, they just  complicating matters. So Nigerian minister of finance Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala threatened  to resign if president Goodluck bows to the removal of the fuel subsidy. Like really?  If they are trying to compare the American way, BIG FAIL... This fuel subsidy has to be removed. The govt has to act quick, if not .... I say no more.

Questions that needs answers

Do u think Nigeria needs help from outside source to end this mayhem?
Why did we ever let Boko Haram take over Nigeria?
And why are we scared to take over them?

Icry4Nigeria

From the bomb blast on Christmas day, to the increase in fuel price on the 1st day of the year. Now Boko Haram, has ordered for Christians to leave the Northern  part of Nigeria.
According to Vanguard Nigeria, Boko Haram, the terrorist group in Nigeria, has given an ultimatum for Christians in the north to move out within 3 days. And asking for the Northerners to move back to the North. What is going on in Nigeria today?
Please Pray for Nigeria, other nations suffer from natural attacks and disasters, but in Nigeria, we suffer from MAN MADE DISASTERS. This has to stop.
I believe there is an OCCUPYNIGERIA going on right now in many states, will violence be the answer?
Our leaders don't care about us, they are in their own world. While they crush us with their policies, they benefit from this policies. They drive around in their big cars, and well air-conditioned cars and home. There is no security, no jobs, no proper education, but mind you they send their kids abroad (taken classes with some of them) but the average Nigerian, cant even afford to pay his children's school fees.
Before any election, they come with their lies, and we fall for it. Once they get into power, they misuse power.
#sigh... What more can I say? Speechless
ICRY4NIGERIA
How long are we going to be living like this, under this harsh condition.
I say no more than to weep for my Nation.

Fuel Subsidy in Najia

Oya, after all the bombing and crazy things that have been happening in Nigeria, now they have increased fuel price from 64 Naria per liter to 150 naria per liter????? Like what is going wrong. The average Nigerian earns 18,000 per month which come up to $112.5 a month. Like come on. The case in Nigeria today is, the rich keeps getting richer, and the poor, well what more, who care about the poor man anyways. No be my papa say make u poor. The middle class..... ummmmm, where are they?
LASU,s school fees was increased from 25,000 Naria per semester to 200,000 per semester. Like really? I thought state schools were supposed to be cheaper. So after paying 200,000 per semester, add strike, and bribery, then comes graduation, and oh NO JOBS. A change has to be made in Nigeria. Due to the increase in fuel price, the increase in transportation fare. This is just plain CRAZY I must say.
